This Morenci mined turquoise ring is a fine example of their craftsmanship at work—note how the gold echoes the matrix in the stone itself, wrapping it’s tendrils around it and embracing it. The designs are penciled onto the ornaments and hand glazed. Each color contains three to five coats of glaze applied by brush. The ornaments are bisque fired at 1900 degrees, glazed fired to 1800 degrees and are very durable. Variations in color are natural to this item and make it unique.
