Fused glass was first mastered by Egyptian chemists in 2000 B.C. It is created by slowly heating compatible glass to approximately 1500 degrees where it liquefies and fuses together. Not only are the coasters an original piece of artwork, but they are functional as well. Lucy’s coasters are the ideal gift for anyone with an appreciation for art, even those who seem to have everything.

These patchwork tapestries are made by a co-op of women in Peru and they tell stories of life. This one shows the typical Andean harvest. Variations in color and textures are natural to this item and make it unique. Hanger not included.

Tom Philabaum has been working with glass since the early 1970’s. He created his Reptilian series around 1983, and shortly thereafter opened his own studio in Tucson. Each perfume bottle is hand-blown with the interior bubble appearing as if it is suspended within the piece. Philabaum’s pieces are a great addition to a perfume bottle collection.
