Jerry Wedekind is an artist from Colorado.   Jerry is unique in the turning world because he hikes or bikes out into the woods to find most of his pieces.  This giant is no exception.  He located it on a Mountain bike ride, but had no way to haul it back to his studio.  Later he improvised a narrow wheeled cart, hiked back in and retrieved this amazing  Aspen Burl.  This piece is unusually large and a treasure to all those that behold its beauty.
